I taught Photography and Photoshop for many years: previously for Gloucestershire College, Jessops and for Permajet. Being a trained educator as well as a photographer, I have the skills required to impart the knowledge I have gained in a clear and effective way.

I spent most of my professional photographic life working with Leigh Preston (FRPS) teaching photography through Churchdown Photographic - an effective blend of taught course and camera club camaraderie. We were originally based at Churchdown School near Gloucester, and later moved to Sir Thomas Rich's School also in Gloucester. The classes ran in the evening on Wednesdays and were enjoyed by a fantastic group of photographers of all abilities - the focus being on individual progress and improvement. Sadly, COVID was a major disruption for our group and both Leigh and I faced further time pressures, leading to an end to our formal tuition. The groups still meets occasioanly for social and infomral photographic events. These times are fondly remembered.
